ENERPLAN BUILDING CONSULTANTS' services are easily categorized into three distinct and complementary categories: ASSESSMENT, DESIGN, and MANAGEMENT. Client work assignments will often begin with Assessment, and follow on into Design and Management.
A common element of all three service categories is the production of Action Plans. The associated reports present all of the information required to facilitate intelligent decision-making and are designed to encourage action through step-by-step planning.
Most buildings have design, construction or workmanship deficiencies. As buildings mature, wear and tear combined with weather conditions, have additional impacts on building component performance. Consequently, buildings need to be assessed, from time-to-time, to determine their condition or to develop solutions to specific problems. We have completed in excess of 3000 such projects involving buildings of varying complexity. These range from large Government and institutional buildings to hotels, office towers, plazas and malls, mixed use buildings, and multi-unit residential buildings.
ENERPLAN BUILDING CONSULTANTS' Assessment work includes several very focused services, such as Remedial and Rehabilitation Action Plans and Condition Surveys, in addition to much broader, multi-disciplinary projects which often feature integrated physical and financial planning. A very important aspect of our technical reviews and/or assessments is to assist our Clients in planning for future rehabilitation or major replacements.
